Aalborg University Library gives access to a number of different e-book collections:
Britannica's Original Sources
Encyclopedia Britannica's "Original sources" is a comprehensive compilation of more than 350.000 documents, more than 5000 books, and a vast number of illustrations. The individual titles are NOT registered in Auboline.
CRC Netbase
Gives access to c. 1500 e-books within the fields of technology and natural science. The collection contains textbooks, introdutions and reference works.
Dawsonera
Dawsonera gives access to more than 70.000 e-books from all subject areas.
Search Auboline for titles! Once you have found a relevant title you click on the link that will take you directly to the book, You can either skim through the book, or download it as a pdf-file. Please ask the staff if you need help.
If you want to rent (borrow) e-books en Dawsonera, please select "materials/ only e-books" in Auboline. When you find the relevant title use "rental request" to get direct access to the book.
Early European Books
A collection of the Royal Library's holdings of items listed in Lauritz Nielsen's Dansk Bibliografi 1482-1600 and its supplement (1919-1996). On completion next year it will offer high-resolution, full-colour images of more than 2,600 pre-1601 prined books.
You can not yet find the titles in Auboline, but in the database, you can search for author, country and language.
AUB gives you access via campus computers and remote login.

Ebib - www.ebib.dk
Gives access to more than 600 Danish e-book from all subject areas. Please notice that the entire site is in Danish!
You can borrow books from Ebib for eight days. You can NOT print from the books.
Please remember that e-books are downloaded (borrowed) to the pc you are currently using. Therefore it is important that you use your own pc if you want to get back to the book more than once during the loan period.
All books are registered in Auboline. Please ask the staff, if you have any questions regarding the use of Ebib.
IMPORTANT: Before you can borrow books from Ebib, you must install the programme Adobe Digital Edition.
Find and install Adobe Digital Edition directly from Ebib chosing "Help (Hjælp)".
Ebrary
Ebrary gives access to more than 30.000 e-books, and lets you create your own virtual bookshelf. The collection covers subject areas such as: Economics, computer science, technology, the humanities and the social sciences.
To get started, you must install an Ebrary Reader on your computer. The Reader can be downloaded from Ebrary's homepage.
Netlibrary
Netlibrary gives access to a small collection (ca. 300 titles) of e-books within the fields of economics and management. A new collection containing 3000 classics will be added shortly.
Oxford Scholarship Online
The library gives access to this collection of nearly 900 e-books. The collection consists of books within the fields of Philosophy, Political Science and Economics. All books are published by Oxford University Press.
Source OECD
Gives access to about 1700 OECD publications, published from 1998 and onwards.
Safari Tech Books
Gives access to more than 5000 computer books including the "Nutshell" and "Definitive Guide" series.
SpringerLink
Access to more than 19.000 e-books from Springer (including all Springer and Kluwer branches). The books cover most scientific fields, however with an emphasis on technology and natural science.

How do I use e-books
With the exception of Britannica's Original Sources, all the library's e-books are registered in Auboline. Thus, if you do not find the title you're looking for when searching in Auboline we recommend that you next search in Britannica's Original Soures.
You may also access the individual collections directly by using the above links.
You can access the e-books from campus computers or through the library's remote authentication service.
