Aalborg University Library is an organization with special focus on development. As such the library has for a number of years worked systematically towards expanding its activities into areas outside what may be considered more classical library tasks. In this part of the website, you may read about some of the library's key areas of focus, namely the AAU-portal, Aalborg University's Research Database (VBN) and master students using the library as their "weekend university".
Two other major areas of focus are the systematic efforts made by the library's information specialist team to support students and researchers in their daily academic work through library courses and counselling.
